We had the most amazing few days before we closed for Christmas:

Our Christmas Celebration took place in the church on Monday December 19th. This included Junior Infants performing a beautiful nativity play called “It’s a Baby”.  The nativity play was performed again in the school hall on Tuesday.

Assembly took place on Tuesday December 20th and we had a surprise visitor! Santa appeared to the delight of all the boys and girls. We were delighted that he took the time out of his busy schedule to visit us!

We were so excited to see Santa. We discovered that he plays the banjo, the cello and the tin whistle and he loves to play Chess. He was so impressed with the fabulous work work and behaviour of the children in Scoil Bhríde. Senior Infants recited a poem and then sang “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”. 5th Class  sang “Snow is Falling” and Santa insisted on jiving to it with Ms. Moran. Santa and Rudolf received a Golden Book Certificate as a Thank You for looking after to all the children on Christmas Eve.
