Abbi Daly’s Granny Chris came to visit us recently in first Class to tell us all about her life when she was a little girl. We heard all about her school. She had more than 50 children in her class and none of the children wore a uniform. There were no uniforms in those days and the girls were not allowed to wear trousers! The homework sounded the same.
Abbi’s granny helped around the house and did a lot of chores. Her family had a television but it was mainly for the adults to watch. The children spent most of their time playing games outside. Abbi’s granny does remember watching the Flinstones on the television though!
A big thank you to Abbi and her lovely Granny for telling us all about life when she was in first class. It was really interesting.
