On October 10th, 5th & 6th class went on a field trip to Millmount Museum and around Drogheda. It was really interesting and a great way to incorporate geography and history on a day out!
We had a Crazy Hair Day on February 13th to help our Parents Association raise funds for the school. It was great fun! Derek & Jessica were busy making Valentine’s Hearts with Ms. Moroney. They turned out really well!
6th class have been busy with reading novels (The Elephant in the Garden by Michael Murpago), a project on Ancient Rome and artwork based on the Barrier Reef.
As part of friendship week, 5th and 6th class pupils organised activities on the yard with the younger classes – skipping, football, chalk drawing and playing with hoola hoops!
3rd class had great fun with their buddies from 6th class who helped them make slime!
6th class were busy this week making St. Brigid’s crosses from clay. When they are dry they will be painted.
THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT IS ALIVE AND WELL IN OUR SCHOOL!
All pupils took part in our annual sponsored walk. It was a beautiful day and perfect for this event. Lots of Mums, Dads and Grandparents also joined us. Here are some of the photos taken during the walk. Thank you
