Caterpillar Transfer

Today is day 17 and a very important day for our caterpillars. Today they moved from the jar to their Chrysalis Station in the Butterfly Habitat . We had to clean around the lid to make sure there was no silk near the caterpillars as this could damage the wings of the butterflies when they emerge. One chrysalis was not hanging so we had to place him on some tissue near the back of the habitat. We are waiting now for our butterflies to emerge .
