Celebrating St Brigid

Junior Infants have been very busy learning about St Brigid the patron saint of our school. Our favourite story about St Brigid was the story of St Brigid’s Cloak. We enjoyed it so much we decided to make a small cloak ourselves using different fabrics which we cut and glued in place.We also added colour with paint and crayon. We then decided to make a lovely display in the hall using our cloaks and the St Brigid’s crosses made by Senior Infants. The result is a lovely colourful display to honour a strong and hardworking woman. We hope you like our photographs .
