Charcoal Pumpkins

Today we used charcoal to create still life pictures of pumpkins.  First, we studied the shape and features of the pumpkin.  We noticed all of the different lines and markings on them.  We used a practice sheet to try out the charcoal and learn how to smudge it.  We worked so hard at adding in light and shade.
