As we come to the end of another fun and exciting school year we are very proud of our Green Schools achievements.
At the GROW Awards (Green, Renewable, Organic, Waste Minimisation) in the Crowne Plaza on June 15th we received a 4 star award for our Green School work, coming 7th among 33 primary schools in County Louth.
At the GROW Awards Yemi in 3rd class received a medal for his contribution to our Green Schools Programme and is our super environmentalist of the year.
And also at these awards we received a plaque to commend us on our FAIR TRADE PROJECT.
We also received our 6th Green Flag for GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP LITTER & WASTE and are proudly displaying this flag outside the school.
WELL DONE TO MR. MOORE (OUR GREEN SCHOOLS COORDINATOR), THE GREEN SCHOOLS COMMITTEE, THE STUDENT COUNCIL, ALL THE PUPILS, STAFF, PARENTS, GUARDIANS AND TO DUNLEER TIDY TOWNS FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND HELP IN MAKE US A TRULY PROUD GREEN SCHOOL.
