EASTER RAFFLE

WELL DONE TO ALL THE CHILDREN WHO WON PRIZES IN OUR SUPER EASTER RAFFLE. WE RAISED €500 TO BUY RESOURCES FOR THE SCHOOL. MS. MORAN WOULD LIKE TO THANK NATHAN, JACK, SOPHIE & EMILY FOR ALL THEIR HELP ORGANISING THE RAFFLE TODAY.

THE BIG BUSK

A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE FOR HELPING US TO RAISE €759.55 FOR FOCUS IRELAND. THE MONEY RAISED WILL PROVIDE 15O MEALS TO HOMELESS PEOPLE  AND ALLOW EXPERT ADVICE BE GIVEN TO THOSE PEOPLE WHO ATTEND THE COFFEE SHOP FOR THE MEALS.

We have been very busy during the month of March and have been enjoying the brighter days and watching the flowers and plants emerging after the winter.

HANDWRITING IN JUNIOR INFANTS & FIRST CLASS

When I visited Junior Infants and 1st class recently I was astounded by the  standard of handwriting in both classes. Well done to all the children for their hard work which is definitely paying off. I am so proud of you all! 

We had a fabulous number of entries in our GENESIS Friendship Competition. The Entries are so impressive and here are some of them. Results will be  announced soon:

GREEN FLAG NUMBER 8!

Thanks to Mr. Moore, the Green Schools Committee and all the staff and children for working on our application for our 8th Green Flag  on the theme of Global Citizen ship – Marine Environment

Fourth Class were very busy making a video to accompany a very important pollution message for our Marine Environment Global Citizenship Flag. We had two extremely talented 5th class students to help with the video. Thank you so much Maggie Healy and Kaitlin Lennon.
