A LITTLE RAY OF SUNSHINE!
Thanks to the Genesis Programme for supplying some of our pupils in Junior Infants, Senior Infants & 1st class with sunflower growing kits.
Children are going to send in photos of their flowers as they grow. I wonder who will grow the tallest flower?!!
GREAT EASTER FUN & GAMES
Here are some photos of the fabulous artwork and the fun and games classes had this week.
Junior Infants did AMAZING drawing this week. Everybody drew their own Easter Bunny , then we painted the background and the bunny using beautiful spring colours. Each wonderful bunny got a carrot to nibble on !! We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed making them . Happy Easter .
We made lovely Easter rabbits in Senior Infants! We had great fun painting the rabbits and sticking on the eyes, nose and whiskers! Mrs Carberry said we did a great job!
Some of the pupils in 1st Class have been working very hard on revising Tricky Words. They had an Easter Egg Hunt with a difference in Ms. Keogh’s room. The eggs were not made of chocolate but instead they had Tricky words written on them and were hidden in very funny places. Some eggs were difficult to find but they were all easy to read thanks to the extra hard work and effort since we returned to school. Well done everyone!
