It has been a busy month for the pupils of Scoil Bhríde. Our January assembly celebrated all of the wonderful things that are going on in our school.

Some children got an extra special mention in our Golden Book.

There was great excitement in 3rd class as some children were ready to receive their Pen Licence.  They have been working very hard on their cursive writing and will now begin using pen for all writing activities.  Congratulations to all!

Members of our Green Schools Student Council were invited to the Market House to celebrate Dunleer’s participation in The National Enterprise Towns Award early in January. This was to celebrate how well Dunleer did. The awards celebrated all strong relationships in Dunleer community that have produced a thriving and vibrant village. This includes Scoil Bhride’s close ties with Scoil Uí Mhuirí, Dunleer Tidy Towns,  Dunleer Community Hub, The Men’s Shed and local businesses. We had some lovely cup cakes and drinks after the celebration!
