OUR FIRST TERM….OVER ALREADY!!!

We have had a great first term! It was busy! We worked very hard, learned loads, were really kind and respectful, improved in lots of areas, had fun and children were involved in some extra activities – Samba, art workshops, GAA coaching, STEAM, swimming, dressing up for Halloween, andThe Hope Shoebox Appeal.

OUR CHRISTMAS SERVICEDecember was especially busy with a very festive last week. We held our annual Christmas Service in the church on December 18th. Junior Infants were absolutely superb! The children gave food hampers and a cheque for €500 (raised from our Jumble sale on December 4th) to Fintan from St. Vincent De Paul.

A VISIT FROM THE NORTH POLE!!! It just wouldn’t be the same in Scoil Bhríde if Santa didn’t visit! He came yesterday loaded with gifts for every class and a selection box for every child. Santa visited every class and we sang Christmas songs and got our photos taken with him. Thank you to our Parents Association for organising this very special visit!

CHRISTMAS STARS!

AND OF COURSE WE HAVE TO CONGRATULATE THE STUDENTS WHO WERE AWARDED IN DECEMBER! WELL DONE EVERYONE!

WE WOULD LIKE TO WISH YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND VERY GOOD WISH FOR 2020. NOLLAIG SHONA DAIOBH GO LÉIR.
