October was a very busy month.  Check out the individual class posts to see what activities were taking place.  After our mid-term break and Halloween madness we had assembly and the following students were awarded Student of the Month and who received Special Commendations.

Children in third class were very working hard on their handwriting and the following children graduated to pen! Well to these students, all other children in third class are getting better and better and there will be more graduates next month!

Fifth class were very busy planting garlic and onion bulbs in the school garden. Hopefully we will have a nice crop before end of the school term.

Paddy Holdcroft and David  from Dunleer Community Hub and some of our GSSC members have  been working hard with Derek creating new beds in the garden and transferring the shrubs up to one of our Tree Tribes Garden.

Our GSSC created a display to encourage all pupils to be positive and to be the best that they can be! They also showed short videos about composting to all the pupils at assembly.
