Last week Fr.Murtagh kindly invited 1st Class to his exciting garden to pick apples. We have great fun tasting and smelling some of the fruit, vegetables and herbs. The rhubarb, apples and raspberries were the biggest hits!

We noticed the signs of Autumn with the big ripe blackberries, wasps eating the fallen apples and the leaves on the trees changing colours. We walked through the crunchy leaves and Fr.Murtagh showed us the ever greens that keep their leaves all year round.

Thank you Fr.Murtagh for a lovely visit!
