PRESENTATION TO TROCAIRE

Mr. Moore and the Green Schools Committee proudly presented a cheque for €250 to Anna Keegan from Trócaire as well as a Trócaire box containing money collected by 3rd class during Lent. The money was raised by holding a raffle for a Fair Trade hamper which took place on March 10th as part of the school’s participation in Fair Trade Fortnight when we learned all about the importance of buying fair trade and the positive impact doing this has on less developed countries. Anna has recently returned from Honduras and met with the family who were featured on this year’s Trócaire box.
