Station Teaching in Senior Infants

Station teaching is taking place in our class for five weeks.  The learning support teachers come to our room to help us with our work.  We break up into four different groups and spend 10 minutes with each teacher.

Miss Gillespie works on Phonics with us.  We read lots of words and sentences.  We also practice our tricky words.  We are getting better every day.

Miss Woods helps us with Creative Writing.  We get to write our own little stories.  We love to do this.

Miss McCreanor is reading stories with us.  Some of them are funny!  We also play Headbandz with Miss McCreanor on Fridays.

Ms Mullen/Ms Clayton do Dictation.  They call out sentences for us to write down.  We are getting very good at it.
