Weaving

This month we’ve explored weaving during our history and art lessons.  We learned that the Kikuyu tribe from Kenya create baskets and other items by weaving.  On St Brigid’s Day we had a go at weaving the rushes together to make a cross.  We also used hessian and wove strands of wool through it.  Finally,  we had fun making these pictures by weaving card.
